Nurse call system
The system of call bells, lights and alerts that lets residents and patients summon staff, often required in nursing homes.
A nurse call system connects call buttons in resident rooms and bathrooms to lights, displays and sometimes staff devices. Modern systems may log calls and route them to phones.
AskLight is not a nurse call system and doesn’t replace one. It works alongside it to add the resident’s words and clear ownership for everyday requests.
