Website privacy policy
Last updated 3 October 2026
AskLight (“we”) operates the website at asklight.app. This policy explains what we collect through this website and how we use it. It does not cover the AskLight product used by care facilities, which is governed by each customer agreement.
What we collect
- Pilot and contact requests. When you submit a form: your name, work email, organisation, role, facility type, approximate number of rooms, country, your message, whether you agreed to receive product updates, and the page and campaign (UTM) parameters that brought you here.
- Booking details. If you book a call through our scheduling provider, we receive the booking time and your email.
- Anonymous usage counts. We count events such as button clicks and form starts per page per day. These counts contain no identifiers, IP addresses or cookies.
- Privacy-friendly analytics. If enabled, Cloudflare Web Analytics measures page views without cookies or cross-site tracking.
- Security data. Our hosting provider processes IP addresses transiently for security and rate limiting. Cloudflare Turnstile may be used to tell people from bots.
How we use it
- To reply to your request and arrange a conversation.
- To send occasional product updates, only if you ticked the box (consent). You can withdraw consent at any time.
- To understand which pages help visitors, using anonymous counts.
- To protect the website from abuse.
We do not sell your information, and we do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Who processes it
- Cloudflare — website hosting, database, security, email routing and optional analytics.
- Google Gmail — the team inbox receiving website enquiries and lead notifications.
- Attio — customer relationship management, if connected.
- Cal.com — meeting scheduling, if you book a call.
- Slack — internal notification of new requests, if connected.
These providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States.
How long we keep it
Pilot and contact requests in the website database are deleted automatically after 730 days unless marked as a customer. This automatic deletion does not cover email correspondence; you can request deletion by emailing the privacy contact below. Anonymous daily counts are kept for about 13 months.
Your choices and rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your information, or withdraw marketing consent, by emailing privacy@asklight.app. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights, including the right to complain to a data protection authority.
